Its official, USA Cycling has announced the athlete selections of who will represent the United States at the Cyclocross World Championships in Luxembourg, January 28-29, 2017. The Amy D. Foundation is proud to announce that Becca Fahringer is part of the six-member women’s team, a collection of cyclists that rank amongst the best in the world. Always making the most of an opportunity, Becca is traveling to Europe prior to the World Championships to hone her skills and fitness at World Cup events in Rome (Jan 15th) and Hoogerheide (Jan 22nd).
Only three years into her career as a cyclocrosser, Becca has had a meteoric rise to the top of the sport and we look forward to the continuation of this development trajectory. Becca first joined the Amy D. Foundation program for the 2015-2016 cyclocross season; the opportunities presented through the past two seasons have been made possible through the support of industry partners, fundraising events, and private donations.
