Honoring Amy

(Boulder, CO) - The Foundation wishes to recognize the date of October 3rd, in honor and commemoration of the passing of Amy Dombroski, who the world lost eight years ago to the day. The Foundation was created in honor of Amy, whose love for cycling and life touched many people around the world. The Foundation’s mission is to build opportunities for women in the sport of cycling and to promote positive personal development. Despite the setbacks we encountered in 2020, which all but eliminated racing in the U.S., the Foundation is working to diversify the sport and provide a much needed bridge of support to athletes looking to move into the elite ranks of cycling with a multifaceted approach to the 2021-2022 seasons with Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives, the introduction of the ADF Equity and Opportunity Scholarship, the Big Ring/Breaking Barriers ADF Cyclocross race, and community cyclocross clinics hosted across the country.
