Olympian Mara Abbott, a long-time SRM-supported athlete, has donated an autographed Queen of the Mountain jersey from the 2015 USA Pro Challenge. Mara won the Queen of the Mountain competition riding for the Amy D. Foundation team at the inaugural Women’s USA Pro Challenge event in Colorado. View and bid here

Mara Abbott has been involved in the Amy D. Foundation road cycling program from its inception, and has been a wonderful mentor for many of the other women in the program. Mara’s involvement in Amy D. Foundation programming is also meaningful because of her relationship with Amy Dombroski.
“Amy was a good friend of mine and inspired me in my cycling career with the attitude and determination she brought to her racing,” Mara Abbot said. “I often wished to emulate Amy in my moments of struggle. Amy was a special person to me… To be able to represent the spirit of such a wonderful person and ride for an organization that brings opportunity to others in a genuine way is an incredible honor.”
